Despite the fact that chronic stress leads to a rapid decline in health and mental health, Medicare does not cover preventative mental health services. Guiding Star recognizes the importance of regular check-ins, general support, and case management services.
Our certified geriatric mental health specialists will:

Check in on your loved one regularly

Have at least one face to face (in person or video) meeting each week

Be available by phone to family members and the older adult during normal business hours

Provide case management and referrals

(With permission) Assist with care coordination
